Mother's Day
The Chinese Proverb "There is one pretty child only in the entire world, and that every mother feels only she has it." mom's are sooo sweet:)
here are some sweet simple mother's day ideas:
Full day of pampering and relaxation- well we all know our moms deserve a break! all the cooking, laundry, taken care of the pet. so mother's day should give her that.
Loving Notes box or jar- you can decorate a box with small mirrors and beads or glass paint a simple glass jam jar and keep in loving notes from all of you.
Picture book or magnetic picture frame- make your own little album using hand-made paper and ribbons or lace. and jot down your memories with the pictures.
for the picture frame use old fridge magnets or buy a magnet sheet from the hardware store.
Card or poem- well all mothers dote over this one.
Hand made candles- all you've got to do is melt wax(available at craft's stores) in a double boiler. pour it in moulds containing wick. you may also add shells or beads.
Home made chocolates- don't forget to double boil while melting your chocolate bars.
Paper flower bouquet- instead of plucking flowers or buying her carnations. make your own bouquet that she can keep forever.

Bake a cake or cookies- be innovative and use heart shaped cutters for your cookies, decorate with m&m's, cadbury shots etc and record the appreciative words from her!!
